Country Memories Day is bouncing back from the Pandemic and it's gonna be bigger and better than ever! What better way to spend this Saturday, May 27th than by bringing your family and friends to Market Street, McVeytown? This event will be decked out with all kinds of food vendors and craft stands. Local families will be setting pop up stands all around. Breakfast will be served near the square starting at 6am and lasting to about 10am. From there, lunch will be handy at any of the food trucks or restaurants in town! You have to enjoy some deep fried oreos, hot sausage sandwhiches and ice cold lemonade!
This year they will have an eye capturing magician who will roam the streets wowing everyone who comes near. Of course, the McVeytown United Methodist Church will be hosting the kids activities in the parking lot again. Bring your children to enjoy some hand held snacks, kid sized drinks, and fun crafts. There will be face painting, there will be rock painting, there will be prizes, there will be so much FUN!
Across from the library will be the annual car show. You don't want to miss it! Live music and singing will be making the atmosphere lively and joyous all day long. Country Memories Day is worth coming to experience. There are so many stands with local businesses selling at discounted prices. Be sure to get your hands on some new goods! Wheather it's jewelery, home decor, cookware, collectables, art, homeade baked and canned goods, cosmetics, or plants.... You're sure to leave with something you'll enjoy.
